The Master's degree programme in Occupational Health Management (OHM) offers you the unique opportunity in Germany to deal with issues of occupational health management in a full-time Master's degree programme.

As a special feature, we rely on a foundation of sports science expertise: a Bachelor's degree in sports science is a prerequisite for admission. This allows you to expand your sports science expertise in the BGM Master's programme with scientific findings as well as practice-oriented skills and key qualifications and transfer them precisely to the application area of occupational health management.

Multi- and transdisciplinarity takes centre stage. You will deal with theoretical and empirical knowledge from various specialised disciplines. Operational processes, organisational and human resources characteristics as well as management and marketing aspects are important areas of knowledge. You will also examine current findings in occupational health management from a sociological, nutritional, sports and health education, medical, training science, psychological and economic perspective.

The BGM Master's programme includes a variety of teaching and learning formats adapted to the different disciplinary cultures as well as practical components and project management skills. A three-month work placement is integrated into the programme. Elective and specialisation areas allow you to actively shape your studies and set your own focus.

The Master's degree programme in Occupational Health Management was accredited in April 2022 without any conditions. Enrolment is possible for the winter semester.
