The movement field of rolling, gliding, travelling (based on the NRW core curriculum for the subject area of sport) includes a wide range of locomotion in various movement areas (sea, mountains, lakes, etc.). Students thus develop fascinating movement possibilities and learn about their significance for school sport and physical education. Locomotion experiences are gained on wheels and rollers (e.g. cycling, inline skating etc.) as well as on gliding equipment (skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, surfing).
Rolling, gliding, driving in the Bachelor of Education - PO 2017
The movement field of rolling, gliding, driving is located in module B7 of the Bachelor of Education degree programme for the school types GyGe, HRG and BK and is scheduled for the 4th or 5th semester according to the study plan. The course is therefore offered in both the summer and winter semesters and can be studied flexibly in the 4th or 5th semester by students of the school types GyGe, HRG and BK, provided there is sufficient capacity in the courses.
For primary schools, the Rolling, Gliding, Riding movement field is only studied if the subject area of Physical Education is being specialised in. The seminar is then included in module B4. According to the study plan, the course is intended for the 3rd to 5th semester. The course is therefore offered in both the summer and winter semesters and can be studied flexibly by students (GS specialisation) from the 3rd to 5th semester, provided there is sufficient capacity in the courses.
For the school types GS (not specialised) and SP, the movement field Rolling, Gliding, Driving does not have to be studied.

In the field of rolling, planing and riding, a selection from the following areas can be offered (depending on the semester):
