In this movement field, students learn about the various possibilities offered by duel-orientated sports. Students learn to take into account their own individual limits and those of their partner and, if necessary, to extend them. They learn about duels as a holistic physical experience and gain experience in duel-orientated forms of movement and games with different structures and origins. Furthermore, the movement field deals with the teaching and differentiation of martial arts, martial arts and self-defence as well as ways of teaching them. Respect, trust, responsibility and communication as well as coordination, balance and precision are important social and motor skills that are consolidated in this field of movement. Throughout the course, there is a special focus on the safety aspects relevant to teaching (based on the NRW core curriculum for the subject area of sport) and their organisational form.
