Forms of play in the Bachelor of Arts
In this field of movement, students acquire a wide range of competences and skills from the field of sports games. They learn cross-sport tactical behaviour and basic motor skills for both the group of invasion games and the group of setback games. In selected standardised sports games, students acquire sport-specific techniques and specific tactical skills.
In addition, after the seminars in this movement field, students should know what to look out for when teaching these skills. To this end, for example, they practise using rule modifications in a targeted manner in order to control the course and effect of game forms in a targeted manner. In addition, basic skills for analysing and evaluating technical and tactical performances are acquired.
In two selected forms of play, in-depth skills are acquired that relate both to self-realisation (motor and tactical) and to mediation and analysis skills in the in-depth sports.
The forms of play in the course of the programme
As part of module B5, the two basic courses are studied first. The "Basic course in sports games/invasion games" takes place in the winter semester. The "Basic course in setback games" is planned for the summer semester, the second semester of study.
Based on the skills acquired in module B5, module B10 is studied in the third and fourth semesters, which places a special focus on didactic aspects and the development of teaching skills. In this module, two forms of play are studied in depth. The seminar "Spielformen I" is planned for the winter semester (third semester) and is usually covered by a compulsory elective course from the canon of setback games. Students take the field of invasion games in the summer semester (fourth semester) by choosing an invasion game.
Further information on the competences to be acquired, the course content and the forms of examination can be found in the relevant examination regulations. The specific examination content will be announced at the beginning of the course.
