On 9 October, a total of 20 participants from the Paderborn University secretarial network came together for a varied event on the topic of eating and drinking in everyday office life.
Dr Dankers provided basic knowledge about macronutrients - carbohydrates, fats and proteins - and explained the importance of different food groups for health and performance.
The focus was on the question of how a balanced, healthy and enjoyable diet can be realised even with little time and high work pressure. The participants received numerous valuable tips, recipe ideas suitable for everyday use and suggestions for a conscious diet in the workplace.
The successful event was rounded off with a tasting session in the Institute for Nutrition, Consumption and Health's "learning workshop" and a Q&A session in a pleasant atmosphere.
