New mem­ber of the "Life­style and So­cioeco­nom­ics of Private House­holds" group

Katja Grötzner has been supporting the team at Prof. Dr Nina Klünder's Chair of "Lifestyle and Socioeconomics of the Private Household" as a research and teaching assistant since 1 August 2025. As a doctoral candidate, she conducts qualitative research and is working on a doctorate on the organisation of everyday nutrition in single-parent households.

Katja Grötzner studied Ecotrophology (B. Sc.) at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Public Health Nutrition (M. Sc.) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. She then worked as a research assistant at the Department of Oecotrophology and at the "Competence Centre for Professionalisation and Quality Assurance of Household Services (PQHD)" at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.

Her particular research interests in the field of nutritional and household sciences are social inequalities, gender perspectives and current sustainability debates around the core topic of care. She is looking forward to discussing these topics with the students.
