Final theses in sports education
Dear students,
We would like to support you in writing your final thesis and have formulated the following procedure:
- In the Sport Didactics and Pedagogy group, you can book a place for a thesis in the following semester in July or January via an online system. Below you will find an overview of the first supervisors and the topics they offer. For the open topics "Pedagogical-didactic issues in school sport and/or extracurricular sport", you must take up your own sport pedagogical or sport didactic topic; there is no specification. Even if a topic is specified, you must always develop your own research question.
- If you have booked a place, please contact your chosen first supervisor immediately by email to clarify the next steps. If you have not contacted your supervisor within one week of registering, your place will expire. If you decide within the registration period that you do not want to write your thesis in our working group after all, please cancel your place as a supervisor immediately.
- After consultation with your first supervisor, you must write a short synopsis and submit it by the deadline.
- When writing your thesis, you must adhere to the guidelines for the design of written theses. The following handout on structuring a thesis is also helpful.
In the summer semester 2024, you can book a supervision place for the winter semester 2024/25 during this period:
- Monday, 01.07.2024, from 8:30 a.m. until Monday, 08.07.2024 until 4 p.m.
- under the following link
Remaining places for students who have not contacted the first supervisor immediately after booking will be made available for booking again until 9 July 2024.
- Submission deadline for the exposés: Thursday, 15.08.2024
Please understand that for capacity reasons we are unable to accept any further theses beyond the places offered.
Kind regards,
Your team of sports didactics and pedagogy
